Magus: The Magus are the very first entities created by the gods of Yrneh. They are a small people with total access to magic, making them figures one rank below the Gaïanor. They have no defined physical structure and wear long hooded robes that reveal only their strange blue eyes, shining as brightly as light itself. Their height is 2m10 except for Magus Regnus who stands 2m50 tall. They command all the elements of life-based magic and have no knowledge of its antithesis. They lived around Naör in Ogarithia before settling on the coast of the Dawn, then later making their sanctuary on the island of Angwë. In the end they would be persecuted by the Dark Lord. From the Second Cycle onward, a new branch of Magus appears: the Magii, those who sold their soul to Fulk Arken. Only the magic of Darkness and the will of the Gaïanor can make them disappear.
POLITICAL STRUCTURE:
The Magus are peculiar creatures situated between the Gods and all the living creatures of Yrneh. Their role is to regulate magic in the world of Yrneh.
There are always 12 of them plus one called the Magus Regnus, that is, the one who governs the other members of this caste. They were far more numerous in the past but some
of them sold themselves to Fulk Arken. They hold full authority over the island of Angwë and every Magus respects the orders of the Regnus. They only have a role of prevention and consultation among the free peoples.
LANGUAGE:
Basically the Magus do not have a written or spoken language properly speaking. In the earliest days they communicated with the Gaïanor by telepathy. They assimilated the languages of the other peoples.
