The third people are the Dwarves as we know them from all legends and from the writings of the great authors of Heroic Fantasy.
It is a people whose numbers have diminished considerably and more rapidly than those of any other.
They are the most discreet of all.
The true reasons are unknown, but they seem to lie in the many wars with Orcs and Goblins.
Rumors and legends also speak of the presence of creatures more powerful than Trolls...
POLITICAL STRUCTURE:
The Dwarves have a simplified hierarchy; there is only one king since the whole people has gathered beneath the same mountains.
The King designates from among the members of his family those who may govern the 4 houses characterized by the cardinal points.
The King rules the central house. It is always the eldest son who succeeds his father.
Dwarven women may exercise the regency if the heir has not yet reached the required age.
